Manuel started his professional career at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting and later transitioned to the Mergers and Acquisitions department (Alpha Corporate), where he was eventually promoted to Manager.

In 2003, he joined the Mergers and Acquisitions department of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a Director. At PwC he advised a large number of national and international companies in corporate transactions and achieved a high level of knowledge of transactions with financial partners or private equity’s in MBO’s, LBO’s,…

In 2007 Manuel joined N+1 Private Equity (now Alantra), one of the leading private equity funds in the Spanish market, as Investment Director. There, he participated in several acquisition and divestment transactions. He was also a member of the Investment Committee.

In 2011 he founded Escala Capital with the objective of providing expert and independent advice on corporate transactions to companies and shareholders who are developing their businesses.
